I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Ohio State University. My research interests include industrial organization, applied econometrics, and decision theory. I am currently focussing on limited opportunity of consumers such as limited attention problem in advertising and budget constraint problem in discrete choice.
This paper develops a practical structural demand model that disentangles attention and blur effects of advertising with industry spill-overs using the Nested Consideration Logit approach.
This paper introduces a new measure of stochastic choice consistency for the random utility model (RUM) by allowing measurement error on choice probabilities, providing a statistical test for RUM violations.
This paper develops a framework for identifying consumer preferences and budget distribution in discrete choice models where unobserved budget constraints determine consideration sets.
This paper introduces the measurement error random utility model (MERUM) as a generalization of the standard random utility model. The model is characterized by an ɛ-Axiom of Revealed Stochastic Preference. The model introduces a natural measure of minimal measurement error needed for MERUM rationalization.
